Wonder what you are going to do to get healthy this fall? All of the fall vegetables and fruits are right in front of you at the grocery store. Why are vegetables and fruits so important for great health? Because that is what our body needs to function properly. Don’t want to eat your veggies? Look at your skin and look in the mirror. Then read what happens when you change your diet.
One of the classes that I teach is Transitions Lifestyle. It takes overweight, unhealthy eaters and educates them on eating, vitamins and healthy choices (not the food!). The first week is called Detox Week and it is eating only vegetables and 3 fruits a day. At first, there is groaning and complaining. Day 1 is okay. Day 2 is headaches. Day 3 is more headaches and lethargy. Day 4 is full of energy. Day 5 is full of more energy. Day 6 is “I’ve never felt better”. What is happening? The food addiction and cravings to sugar, gluten, and chemicals is being slowly detoxed from your body. When the toxins are removed you start to feel really great. By week 3 of healthier eating….I now have clients that have glowing and radiant skin…not to mention baggy clothes.
Be good to your body…eat your fruits and vegetables.
